The Globe Valves are primary used to modulate or regulate the volume of the flow, a Globe Valve is not recommended when a continuous full flow of fluid is required due to the high pressure drop inherent to the design of a Globe Valve. The disc of globe valve can be plug type, needle type or parabolic type, globe valves are on/off valves, but sometimes they are utilized in throttling service, globe valves are widely used for the medium of water, steam, oil product, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxygenation, etc.
