Because ball valve adopts rubber, nylon and Teflon as valve seat insert materials; Its working temperature is limited by valve seat sealing material. Seat sealing under the certain contact pressure effect, elastic-plastic deformation of local region. The deformation can be made of the manufacturing precision and surface roughness of a sphere, to ensure that the ball valve sealing performance.
Cutting off function of ball valve is depended on the metal sphere under the action of medium and clamp plastic valve seat to finish it (Float ball valve). Valve seat sealing ring is under the certain contact pressure effect, local area will be elastic-plastic deformation. The deformation can make up for spheriform precision casting and surface roughness, in order to ensure the sealing property.
